Leader:   But are you sure? Do you believe?

People:  We don't want to be called "doubting Thomas," but how can this be?

Leader:   Jesus said, "Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe."

All:         Alleluia! Christ is risen indeed!

Opening Prayer

Leader:      God of the resurrection, we thank you for the new life you have given Jesus and all who follow him.

People:     Through the power of your Spirit, inspire us to make a leap of faith into your loving arms.

Leader:      May we believe the words of Scripture when they speak of your victory over death, and may we accept the promises you make for the future.

All:           We praise you for your love, your joy and your wonderful living hope - hope that points us to a future that we cannot see, but that we believe you will guide us through. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven,

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth,
as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,

That Old Time Religion

Chorus:     Give me that old time religion
Give me that old time religion
Give me that old time religion
It's good enough for me.

1.      It makes me love everybody
Makes me love everybody
Makes me love everybody
It's good enough for me.

2.      Well, it was good enough for mother
It was good enough for papa
It was good enough for sister
And it's good enough for me.

3.      It will take us all to heaven
It will take us all to heaven
It will take us all to heaven
It's good enough for me.
And it's good enough for me.
