*Call to Worship

Leader:   We are caught up in the trials and tribulations of our everyday lives.

People:  The world seems to swirl around us, as a whirlpool, pulling us downward.

Leader:   Bad news blasts us from every direction.

People:  We need God’s healing touch right now.

Leader:   Help us to believe in your healing love, O Lord.

People:  Help us to focus our lives on your redeeming presence.

Leader:   Enable us to reach out to each other and to our community.

People:  Give us the strength, determination, and commitment to speak your word of peace.

Leader:   And the people who seek the Lord shout:

All:         AMEN!

Praises, Joys and Concerns

Morning Prayer and Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth,
as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,

the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.
